This master’s thesis focuses on how companies can better use heterogeneous cyber threat data to improve their information security management. It explores methods to automatically collect, clean, and assess threat information from various public and internal sources, and to integrate it into a knowledge base that links threats to concrete IT assets. On this basis, the thesis aims to design and prototype an intelligent threat information service that generates company-specific threat situation overviews and supports both manual and automated handling of security threats.
